What to expect —
Held at Titoki Golf Course in Whangamata, the tournament brings together friends and familiar faces for 18 holes of relaxed, friendly competition.
Held at Titoki Golf Course in Whangamata, the Whiritoa Golf Masters brings together friends and familiar faces of Whiritoa to compete for the coveted Masters Cup, with teams battling it out for the inaugral 'Vere Sharma Cup' in honour of our late founding member and Whiritoa local, Vere Sharma.
Highlights include:
- Individual and team stableford-based competition
- Longest drive and closest to the pin
- Spot prizes
Tee times start at 8.45am on Jan 2nd, followed by prize giving will be held at the Whiritoa Surf Club from 6pm.
How to enter —
$80 per person or $320 per team (Includes green fees)
Enter as a single or team of four.
Limited entries — participants must have some connection to Whiritoa.
All proceeds go towards the Whiritoa Surf Club.
Tournament Rules —
- Individual and team stableford-based competition (if a team of 3, you're score will be averaged out for 4)
- Max. Handicap: 24 Mens, 36 Womens
- Scoring on physical cards only
- Clean & Place 15cm in general area
- No gimmes. Putt everything.
- No breakfast balls or mulligans, this is serious beach golf!
